About Enterprise Rent-A-Car in Canada

Founded in 1957, Enterprise Rent-A-Car is an internationally recognized brand with more than 500 neighbourhood and airport locations across Canada. Since our first Canadian car rental branch opened more than 20 years ago in Windsor, Ontario, Enterprise has quickly become Canada's largest provider of rental cars. Through tremendous leadership and the entrepreneurial spirit of our employees, we have built the largest car rental brand in North America, known for great rates and outstanding customer service.

Today, Enterprise offers a wide variety of replacement rentals, car sharing, truck rental, fleet management and hourly rental programs – and local car rental customers are picked up at no extra cost. In addition, the Enterprise Holdings Foundation has contributed more than $4.5 million to local non-profits throughout Canada focused on community improvement, health, education and environmental stewardship.

We are committed to doing things the right way: taking care of our customers, our employees and the communities we serve.

Safety Recalls

The Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Act requires auto manufacturers to send a notice of any safety recall to vehicle owners. When we receive such a safety recall notice and the corresponding Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs), it is Enterprise Rent-A-Car’s policy to not rent such vehicles until the manufacturer’s specified remedy or authorized interim repair has been implemented. More information is available here.
